Fix "Windows Protected Your PC" Warning for PTZ Flow

If a blue window pops up saying “Windows protected your PC” when you try to install or open PTZ Flow, this is Windows SmartScreen — not a virus warning.

PTZ Flow is currently unsigned, so Windows flags it as coming from an unrecognized publisher. This is a standard precaution, and the app is safe to run.

How to run PTZ Flow anyway

  1. When the SmartScreen warning appears, click the small “More info” link located just under the main warning text.
  2. A new button labelled “Run anyway” appears at the bottom of the window.
  3. Click Run anyway to launch the installer or app.

Windows will not ask again for the same file once you’ve done this.

Still stuck?

If you don’t see the “More info” link, or the app still won’t open, reach out to support and we’ll help you out.
